Today we finished the last day of rehearslals!

Young pianists from such countries as: China, Sweden, USA,  Azerbaijan, Palestinian Autonomy, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, DPR Korea, Serbia, Russia, Argentina, Italy and Poland, presented very high level of their performances and the atmoshphere during the Competition was fantastic.

After final debate Jury awarded the following prizes:

The Inauguration of 20th International Piano Competition took place  yesterday. We started with  morning press conference with invited guests: Jerzy Janczarski – director of Departament  of culture and national heritage, Maria Murawska – ( chairwoman of  Jury) rector of Music Academy in Bydgoszcz,  Reem Handal – from Music Akademy in Betlehem,  Alberto Nose -  Prize Winner of Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw 2000 and Agnieszka Brzezińska – director of Chopin Centre in Szafarnia.

In the evening The Competition was opened by piano recital of Alberto Nose who perform works of Chopin, C. Debussy and F. Liszt in front of numerous audience.
