MATYLDA KUKLA
Matylda Kukla was born on January 3, 2015, in Warsaw. Since the age of six, she has been attending the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 in Warsaw. She is studying piano under the guidance of Ms. Ewa Zakrzewska.
Matylda has achieved the following successes:
• Special Award for the best performance of Chopin’s Polonaise in A-flat major at the 32nd International Chopin Festival in Mazovia / 2024 Sochaczew
• 1st place – 32nd International Chopin Festival in Mazovia / 2024 Sochaczew
• 1st place – 4th National Piano Competition „Musical Images” / 2024 Radom
• 3rd place – 8th National Piano Competition im. Karol Nicze / 2024 Pabianice
• 1st place – 39th Young Pianists Competition Nad Kamienną 2024 / Skarżysko-Kamienna
• Honorable Mention – 2nd National Children’s Duet Competition DUETTINO / 2023 Warsaw
• Honorable Mention – 1st National Piano Competition for Children and Youth „Paderewski Piano” / 2023 Otwock Wielki
• Honorable Mention – National Piano Competition Master of the Keyboard / 2023 Warsaw
• 1st Prize – 1st National Piano Competition CLAVIMANIA / 2022 Kraków
• 3rd place – 4th National Piano Competition CANTABILE / 2022 Warsaw
• Honorable Mention – 11th National Piano Competition im. Emma Altberg / 2022 Łódź
Additionally, she performed twice at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music as part of the Little Music University concert series in 2023 and 2025, as well as in Żelazowa Wola in 2024.
