QIANYU WANG

Qianyu Wang, born on June 4, 2015, is a distinguished young pianist from China. Displaying remarkable musical talent from an early age, she has rapidly gained recognition both nationally and internationally for her achievements.

Qianyu began her formal piano studies in 2020 under the tutelage of Professor Zhao Ling at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. In 2022, she continued her studies with Professor Zhu Aowen at The Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division in New York. In 2025, she further refined her artistry in New York, studying with renowned pianists.

Her early accomplishments include becoming the youngest pianist globally to pass the ABRSM Grade 8 exam at the age of five years and eight months. She also holds the distinction of being the youngest to pass China’s Central Conservatory of Music Level 9 and the Chinese Musicians Association Level 10 at ages five years and nine months and five years.

Qianyu’s performance highlights include her 2021 debut at Beijing Zhongshan Music Hall, where she performed Haydn’s C Major Sonata with a symphony orchestra, as well as participating in various other performances.

Her numerous competition accolades include first prizes at prestigious events such as the 2020 Vivace International Piano Competition, the Vienna Mozart International Piano Competition, and the Chopin International Piano Competition for Children. Her disciplined approach to practice, combined with her deep musicality and commitment, sets her apart as one of the most promising young talents in the classical music world.

In 2025, Qianyu deepened her musical studies in New York under the guidance of world-renowned pianists Robert McDonald, Jerome Lowenthal, and Eve Wolf, further enhancing her technical skills and interpretive depth.
