AMELIA QUIGLEY

She studied piano professionally for four years at the Uspensky School of Music in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (2017–2021), under the guidance of Ms. Dilafruz Abdurazakovna Mamadalieva. After the COVID-19 pandemic, she transferred to the British School of Tashkent and continued her piano studies privately with Ms. Mamadalieva.

Since 2017, she has given several notable public performances. In May 2018, she performed W. A. Mozart’s Rondo for Piano and Orchestra in A major, K. 386, with the Turkistan Chamber Orchestra. In March 2019, she participated in the „Giovani Musicisti – Città di Treviso” Competition in Italy and was awarded First Prize. In October 2019, she performed J. Haydn’s Concerto No. 11 with the same orchestra. In June 2022, she appeared as a soloist with the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra, performing W. A. Mozart’s Concerto No. 21.

In the spring of 2023, she took part in two international competitions: “Città di Cervignano” in Italy, where she won Second Prize, and “Merci, Maestro!” in Brussels, Belgium, where she received a participant’s diploma.

In July 2023, she attended the Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard program in Florida, USA, where she collaborated with fellow young musicians from around the world. During the program, she performed a duet of Slavonic Dance No. 10 by A. Dvořák and a solo performance of Arabesque No. 1 by C. Debussy.

In February 2024, she participated in the Béla Bartók Competition in Graz, Austria. In June 2024, she was accepted to Amadeus International School in Vienna on a music scholarship, where she is currently studying piano with Professor Adrian Cox.

As a student at Amadeus, she has performed at several piano recitals in Vienna, including one in January 2025 at the Bösendorfer Salon and another in March 2025 at the Grand Hotel.
