TOMASZ ZUBOWICZ

Tomasz Zubowicz was born on December 2, 2009, in Giżycko, Poland. Since 2015, he studied under the guidance of Michał Jerzy Tyczyński, M.A., at the State Primary Music School in Giżycko.

He is currently a student in the 4th grade of the secondary level at the Fryderyk Chopin State Primary and Secondary Music School in Olsztyn, in the piano class of Anna Osiecka, M.A.

In addition to playing the piano, Tomasz loves composing music – not only for piano, but also for orchestra and chamber ensembles.

He is a laureate of over 30 national and international piano competitions, including:

• Laureate with special distinction at the 23rd Iza Garglinowicz Piano Festival in Olsztyn (2023),

• Laureate and recipient of the „Piano Personality” title at the 1st Festival of Pianistic Independence in Warsaw (2023),

• 1st Prize at the OPUS 2023 International Music Competition in the instrumental ensemble category, Kraków (2023),

• 1st Prize at the National Piano Competition “Winter Impressions 3” in Kraków (2023),

• 1st Degree Distinction at the 8th International Piano Competition in Augustów (2024),

• 1st Prize at the 4th International Gloria Artis Competition in Vienna (2024),

• Grand Prix at the 1st National Zbigniew Śliwiński Piano Competition in Gdańsk (2024).
