LYU JIBEI

Jibei Lyu, 12 years old, from Beijing, China, is currently studying at Tianjin Juilliard School Pre-College under the tutelage of Professor Xiaohan Wang.

He has won the First Prize in the Children’s Group & Bach Intermediate Group at the 2020 Singapore International Piano Competition, the First Prize in Group A at the 9th Steinway National Youth Piano Competition (Beijing Division), the First Prize in the Concerto Group at the 2022 Singapore International Piano Competition, the First Prize in the Young Performers Group at the 2022 I Music International Festival, and more.

He has performed at Singapore’s Victoria Concert Hall, Tianjin Juilliard Concert Hall, and Hebei Silk Road Concert Hall. In 2025, he will perform Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor, first movement, with the German Chamber Orchestra at the Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie.
