HOWL MACIUCA

Howl Vlad Maciuca is 12 years old. He began more serious piano training at the age of 7.

A few months after starting his formal training, he achieved two First Prizes at the Golden Classical Music Awards and Elite International Music Competition and was invited to the Winner’s Concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Since 2021, Howl has won over 20 international piano competitions, including the Special Talent and First Prize at the Grand Virtuoso competition, an invitation to perform at the Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Gold Prize at the Carles Sofia competition, where he was invited to Barcelona to perform.

Recently, Howl won the Gold Prize at the Singapore International Music Competition and third place for Piano Concerto at Chopin Ave, qualifying to perform with an orchestra in Poland.

He also attended the prestigious Perugia Music Festival in Italy, where as the winner of the Young Prodigy award, he performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the orchestra conducted by Eitan Globerson. He has had master classes with Hung-Kuan Chen, Asaf Zohar, Ilana Vered, and Alexandre Moutouzkine. Howl was also invited to perform at the Young Star concert by Ilana Vered.

From practicing basic techniques to performing artistic styles, Howl has developed a deep passion for music. Some of his favorite composers are Beethoven, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Bach. Howl hopes to use the power of music for a good cause. In June 2023, he gave his first solo benefit concert, „Childhood Dreams,” for childhood cancer fundraising. Howl continues his volunteer work at the Super Joey Foundation to spread awareness that “No Child should Fight Alone.”
