FRANCISZEK MICHAŁ WRONA
Franciszek Wrona (born in 2013) won the First Prize and the Special Prize from the Chief Conductor of the Philharmonic in Iglava, Czech Republic, at the Gustav Mahler Piano Competition in 2023, as well as the Silver Prize at the London Youth Piano Competition. He also received the title of Gold Laureate and the Special Prize at the 12th Lublin Music Festival, and Second Place at the 3rd National Instrumental Competition named after R. Twardowski in Puławy. In 2024, he won First Place at the 7th International Carl Czerny Piano Competition in Zamość, Third Place at the 1st National Piano Competition in Międzyrzec Podlaski, and Second Place at the 2nd National Instrumental Competition Virtuoso in Toruń. He was awarded an Honourable Mention at the 5th National Competition named after Adam Harasiewicz in Warsaw, as well as the title of Gold Laureate and the Special Prize at the 13th Lublin Piano Festival.
At the 4th Alternative Competition of Radio Chopin, he received the title of First-Place Laureate in the Preludium category and an Honourable Mention in the Mazurek category.
He has performed in the Concert Hall of Polish Radio, named after W. Szpilman, in the Lublin Philharmonic, participated in TV program recordings, and appeared in radio music broadcasts about Frédéric Chopin, also performing recital programs with Chopin’s music.
